In SVN 7767, I get a segfault while browsing my existing recordings.  gdb
 reports it happening in two different functions, so maybe it's two
 different problems.  There's something I can't explain about it all
 because sometimes I can start the video and the segfault doesn't occur
 until I exit the video.  I wonder if these are related to #340?
