 (In [7823]) Refs #340.

 Add the recorder type changed handler - should handle card type switches
 cleanly now.
 The 'seamless' switch now handles discontinuities properly, and resets the
 decoder, too.  This also tries to drain the ringbuffer read buffer & video
 output buffers a bit before switching to the next file.
