 This is not completely true. Each recording profile has a boolean option
 "Enable Auto-Transcode for this Recording Profile" that applies to both
 analog and digital cards. It is especially useful for digital cards
 because they don't have real-time encoding for people who desire disk
 savings. But yes, everything in the subsequent screens are unnecessary
 (unused) for digital cards (AFAIK).
