 I can't imagine that many users possess the skill of instantly calculating
 in one's head the day of week for any given date without some reference
 such as today is Friday the 6th.  This is a patch to allow the user to
 choose date format "ddd yyyy-MM-dd" so one can see the day of week along
 with the international standard format.  I'm sorry I couldn't determine
 the proper GoToDev for this ticket.
