#1000: INSTALL_ROOT seems broken in mythplugins installation

 When compiling SVN 8566 and setting --prefix=/usr in the configure script,
 something strange went on during install. Instead of installing into ie.
 /usr/share/mythtv/* it installed into /share/mythtv and ignored what I sat
 during configure.
 Running "INSTALL_ROOT=/usr sudo make install" solved the problem.

 The box is running ubuntu breezy.

 BTW, it is not possible to set the component for this ticket to
 "mythplugins", I used "mythtv" instead.
