 dab, it looks like the channel table is corrupted/invalid:

 2006-10-07 02:33:53.279 TVRec(6) Error: No valid DTV info, ATSC maj(58)
 min(0), MPEG pn(-1)

 How did you create your channel table? Manually?

 I'll fix the segfault, but that won't be the end of your problems unless
 we figure out why the channel table has invalid entries in it.
