 Hi there,

 This patch does solve the problem for me, however I am using a DVB
 recorder,
 so it may be a seperate problem.

 As part of the patch, some extra verbose messages are logged in the
 backend.

 Would you be able to provide them please ('-v
 important,general,record,schedule'), as it may be to do with the way the
 ring-buffer is switched when using other types of recorder.
