 The Recorded Programs list hangs temporarily (estimated at ~7s per offline
 entry on my system) whilst the backend determines whether a recording that
 is not available locally (i.e. stored on a known offline backend) is
 really not available.

 Would it not be smarter to have the Recorded Programs list check the
 recordings' hostnames, and immediately display a blank frame and a "This
 recording is currently offline." note in the program info display, for any
 recordings known to reside on a known-offline backend?

 On a multi-homed MythTV system, having to navigate these offline entries
 repeatedly can introduce significant navigation delays.
