 Well, its been about a month now since my last freeze. Again ever since I
 adjusted my mysql settings I have not had a freeze. Like I said above, I
 still would get pauses in between shows but it never froze. Then 2 days
 ago I commited the ultimate sin, I messed with some more settings to see
 if I could tweak mythtv even a little more. I think I got away with it
 because its even better now.

 I started running mythbackend with the --noupnp option and now I'm not
 even getting the pauses in between shows. I beleive upnp server is more
 for a game console setup which is not in my enviroment. With the upnp
 server enabled, my mythtv box would show up in my Vista's network places
 as a media device but I never could do anything worth whiue with
 it(clicking on the link just opened media player). Bottom line is try
 running "mythbackend --noupnp" and see if that helps. Unless of course you
 are specifically using the upnp server at which point, I don't know what
 to tell you.
