 mythfronend works great on an Apple TV, but only for 5 minutes at a time.
 The Apple TV OS reboots after 5 minutes since mythfrontend requires
 killing the Finder, which ordinarily provides a "heartbeat" to the system
 (riptide and watchdog processes).

 Mythfrontend for Mac OS X (Apple TV is 10.4.8, I think), should implement
 a periodic call (e.g. every 58 sec, like the Finder would) to
 com.apple.riptide.heartbeat.  See http://wiki.awkwardtv.org/wiki/Watchdog
