 I've traced a problem with mythmusic and mythvideo menus taking between
 6-14 seconds to appear (on my laptop) to the construction of the
 MythThemedMenu object.

 I'm busy with mythmusic at the moment, so I'm inviting someone else to
 take a look at this. If it's still not fixed by the time I'm done with
 mythmusic I'll take a stab at fixing it myself.
