 Yes, it does and I posted something into -dev about that ticket. In short
 if you can make use of a PPC frontend let me know and I'll put it up
 somewhere.

 My take is that chit-chatting in trac is discouraged so you should be
 replying to the messages in -commits which then gets sent out on -dev.
