 I've always had this problem too.  I use Knoppmyth, started around Myth
 0.15 and am currently running 0.19.  I have 16:9 display, and use proper
 16:9 modelines, and the preview still only shows about the left 2/3's
 streached out.  This is true for both 4:3 and 16:9 source material.  I've
 come to assume it is hardware related but don't know for sure.  I don't
 see it on another front-end so it doesn't appear to be related to the
 back-end hardware/config.  I'm using an Abit AN7 motherboard and AOpen
 FX5200-DV128 nvidia graphics card.  I've run various versions of the
 nvidia drivers but the behavior always remains.  Also different themes
 seem to have no affect.
