Comment:

 This seems to be working fine for me. MythWelcome doesn't use the "Block
 shutdown before client connected" setting when you choose to shutdown from
 the popup menu. That option is only used by the backend when deciding if
 it should start the shutdown sequence.

 It does check things like is there a recording taking place or is a
 recording about to start etc. You will see a popup message telling you why
 it wont shutdown if that is the case.

 It could be a permissions problem. You need to setup sudo so it will run
 mythshutdown with root privileges so it can set the wakeup time in the
 BIOS and perform a reboot or poweroff. There is some info on the wiki page
