 I've spent a little time with the channel code (trunk latest) to see if I
 understand the problem.  Maybe someone else can elaborate more.  It looks
 like the tv_rec code simply calls the dvbchannel.initchannel to set the
 the input to the default input (from capturecard sql table).  I could not
 find anywhere where it tries to figure out what the correct input to use
 based on the channel selected.
