 This memory leak only appears for me when a recording is in progress. For
 a single recording, it is on the order of 1600k / view of the status page.

 I will attempt to triage it soon, if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

 It would be useful if someone can get the information that stuartm asked
 for two months ago.
