Comment:

 There is something wrong with those latest segfaults. Try doing a 'make
 distclean' before running:
   ./configure --compile-type=debug ; make ; sudo make install

 We'll need new backtraces + new ticket. It looks like the problem areas
 pinpointed in the earlier segfaults + bug report no longer exist.
