Comment:

 Works for me must be a setup problem. Check the files have a supported
 file extension (.avi, .mpg, .mpeg, .mov, .wmv) Also check the 'Command run
 to display movie files' setting is valid. 'Internal' will use myth's
 internal player although I've had better success using mplayer TBH.
