 Any reason this patch has not been merged.

 The scenario that keeps biting me is a weekly show that is being recorded
 perfectly fine each week with global padding applied, but then another
 show on another channel that I have an existing schedule for starts being
 shown one week, blocking the global padding even if another tuner is
 available.
