 Commenting out the above VERBOSE call in lcddevice.cpp permits the build
 to get further, but it still fails for me in mythmainwindow.cpp of
 libmythui:
 mythmainwindow.cpp: In member function 'void
 MythMainWindow::SetDrawEnabled(bool
 )':
 mythmainwindow.cpp:954: error: 'usleep' was not declared in this scope
 make[2]: *** [mythmainwindow.o] Error 1

 and yeah mythmainwindow.cpp does now contain the include for compat.h
