 I use mythtranscode like this on a routine basis, starting it from the
 'Watch recordings' screen.  It doesn't remain visible as active in 'atop'
 when it completes, but it *is* deleting the old file despite having this
 disabled in mythsetup - unless the preview file is deleted while the
 transcode is in progress. fc10 0.22 fixes from ATrpms.  Was OK in 0.21
 fixes.
