 OK 2 interesting things:
 1) I can record other recordings to DVD in full. This recording is
 watchable without any defects being evident, but it must be flawed
 2) I installed release-21-fixes and correctly built a DVD after uploading
 the recording (myth.rebuilddatabase.pl) so the problem definitely exists
 in the .22 RC
