 (In [22128]) Refs #7212.  Restore the QFile::Open, we need that to get the
 handle to check the tray status.  Instead, split the difference and up the
 probe frequency from 1 second to 14.  mtd will still close the tray, but
 at least it will do it in a more sane interval.
