#8339: Non ascii video titles in mythweb are truncated
------------------------------+---------------------------------------------
Reporter: yianniv | Owner: kormoc
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: minor | Milestone: unknown
Component: Plugin - MythWeb | Version: Trunk Head
Severity: medium | Mlocked: 0
------------------------------+---------------------------------------------
Ever since - I think - I moved to storage groups, in the mythvideo screen
of mythweb the non-ascii titled videos appear on the left hand side as if
they were folders (links). Moreover, some of them are only the left "half"
phrases or words, and the right part is gone. Strangely, a
<nonasciifile>.avi appears as "<nonasciifile>.a" i.e. the ascii letters
"vi" are missing.
No standard phrase length, truncation seems random.
If a folder contains non-ascii videos, they will appear tabbed under the
parent folder as sub-folders and the ascii titled videos will appear
normally with their icons and titles on the main window.
Is this a misconfiguration on my part (in which case I apologize) or a
bug?
There is nothing mentioned in apache.log or mythbackend.log (with -v
important)
I hope the description is not too confusing.
The system is Debian Lenny (apache 2.2.9-10+Lenny4)
