 I'm not sure if this is fixed or not.  I don't see "Unable to get handle
 for port: -1" in my logs since upgrading to .23-rc2 (that error is there
 as recently as the morning before the upgrade) but it's still not working
 reliably.  For example, on a recent attempt to record The Daily Show, I
 only got about 3 minutes of it.

 It's quite possible that this is a different bug, but all I can really say
 is that recording via firewire from a DCH3200 still isn't stable for me.
 .23 doesn't seem any better than .22 was.

 Is it possible that the change makes the error message go away but doesn't
 fix the underlying problem?

 Is anyone else having successes or failures with this?
