 Here are some comments you might try to address on your next patch:

          <source>Press SELECT to play again</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Presione SELECT para volver a
 visualizar</translation>

 re-visualizar, tocar denuevo, reproducir nuevamente ...

 You put '.' at the end of some phrases, some not. It's not
 clear to me if you are using some rule to actually decide.
 Remember there might be inconsistencies on the original English
 file you don't need to repeat.

          <source>Gallery Home</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Galería Raíz</translation>

 This doesn't look good at all. The 'root' concept its not as
 common in international Spanish as it is in English. Sadly, I
 I can't seem to find a better alternative right now.

          <source>Meta Data Menu</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Menú de MetaDatos</translation>

 Use either 'Meta Datos' or Metadatos. This error appears
 elsewhere, please fix those occurrences too.

          <source>File Menu</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Menú Fichero</translation>

 'Menu de archivos' would be better. Try to avoid word to word
 translation if possible.

          <source>Marking Options</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Opciones de Marcado</translation>

 I'd read your translation here as 'Dialing Options' but I'm
 missing some context to be able to suggest a better alternative.

          <source>Failed to rename file</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Error al renombrar fichero</translation>

 I'd use 'Archivo' instead of 'Fichero' here and everywhere
 'file' needs to be translated.

          <source>Scroll image up</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Mover arriba la imagen</translation>

 That is not syntactically correct. 'Desplazar la imagen
 hacia arriba' would be more correct. Some other 'scrolling'
 related string translations you have on your patch would
 benefit from the same change.

          <source>Recenter image</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Volver a centrar imagen</translation>

 Maybe 'Centrar imagen nuevamente'?

          <source>Toggle scale to fullscreen/scale to fit</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Cambiar escalar a pantalla completo/escalar para
 rellenar</translation>

 First section sounds quite awkward. Again: avoid word-to-word
 translation. You might use 'Cambiar a pantalla completa' but
 I know there are better options.
          <source>MythGallery cannot find its start directory.
  %1
  Check the directory exists, is readable and the setting is correct on
 MythGallery&apos;s settings page.</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 + <translation>MythGallery no puede encontrar el directorio de
 inicio.
 +%1
 +Compruebe que el directorio existe, es legible y la configuración de
 MythGallery es correcta.</translation>

 Better of as:

 ....Compruebe que el directorio exista, sea legible y que la configuración
 de
 MythGallery sea correcta.

          <source>Folder: </source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Directorio:</translation>
      </message>
      <message>
          <location filename="../mythgallery/thumbview.cpp" line="128"/>
          <source>Created: </source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Creado:</translation>
      </message>
      <message>
          <location filename="../mythgallery/thumbview.cpp" line="129"/>
          <source>Modified: </source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Modificado:</translation>
      </message>
      <message>

 I don't recall if trailing white space is considered at all but there
 might be a reason why the English version has an space after ':' in all
 those lines.

 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>píxeles</translation>
      </message>
      <message>
          <location filename="../mythgallery/thumbview.cpp" line="134"/>
          <source>Height</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished">Alto</translation>
 +        <translation>Alto</translation>
      </message>
      <message>
          <location filename="../mythgallery/thumbview.cpp" line="136"/>
          <source>Pixel Count</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished">Número de Píxels</translation>
 +        <translation>Número de Píxels</translation>

 Be consistent in how you pluralize words. Use either 'Píxels' or 'Píxeles'
 but not both. Besides, the former seems incorrect.

          <source>degrees</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished">grados</translation>
 +        <translation>grados</translation>

 Actually, 'degrees' is 'Grados sexagesimales' for all I know. But
 I'm loosing context to know if that translation would fit the original
 English meaning. Please check. This one is not that important though, it
 does sound OK as 'grados'.

          <source>Force update news items</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Forzar la actualización de noticias</translation>

 Here the English string seems weird, I'd bet they should have
 used 'Force news items update'. Hope some native its reviewing
 this, it might need to be corrected.

          <source>Cancel news item updating</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Cancelar la actualización de noticias</translation>

 Again, might need to be fixed in the English master, 'Cancel
 news items update' sounds more correct. It might be fixed in
 new versions though, will check.

          <source>You haven&apos;t configured MythNews to use any
 sites.</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 + <translation>MythNews no tiene configurado ninguna
 fuente.</translation>

 Badly translated. First, you are mixing genders with 'configurado', it
 should read 'configurada'. Second, I'd stick with 'sitios' instead
 of 'fuente'.

          <source>No browser command set! MythNews needs MythBrowser to be
 installed.</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 + <translation>No hay un navegador establecido! MythNews necesita
 que MythBrowser este instalado.</translation>

 Establecido/Configurado. Quite sure on that one.

          <source>Edit Site Details</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished">Editar Detalles
 Fuente</translation>
 +        <translation>Editar Detalles Fuente</translation>

 Ok, you went the 'Fuente' way instead of 'Sitio'. Figures. You still
 need to fix the grammar on those though, at a very minimum you should
 use 'de la Fuente'.

          <source>Ok</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Ok</translation>

 Use 'OK' please. Will see if the new English version still needs this fix.

          <source>No Cached News.</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>No hay Noticias Cacheadas.</translation>

 Cacheada its not an Spanish word..

         <source>Showing Cached News.</source>
 -        <translation type="unfinished"></translation>
 +        <translation>Mostrando las Noticias Cacheadas.</translation>

 HeHe, keep using it and it will eventually become a word! No, really,
 you should choose a better alternative. Here in Chile 'cacha' its actually
 an slang for 'A F*k' and your derivate word would be understood here
 in that direction.

 }}}

 Thanks for all your work.
