Comment:

 This has sat dormant for nearly 2 years since the last comment.  I am days
 away from committing a reworked mpeg2fix.cpp without Qt3Support structures
 being used.  There is a good chance that these reported issues are gone
 with either the several ffmpeg syncs we have done, or with subsequent
 debugging.  I will close this ticket a couple weeks after the new code has
 been put into master, and if the problem reoccurs with that code, please
 open a new ticket.  If someone is up to debugging it with known bad
 recordings in the meantime, all the better.
