 Hi warped,

 It was (correctly) pointed out to me that the logging turned on will go to
 stderr-- if you are capturing the log with -l or >, can you please also
 post the output to the console that doesn't make it to the log, or
 redirect stderr to the file too?

 mythfrontend &>  logfile.log

 should work.
