Comment:

 This appears to be a problem with the Mythbuntu theme (despite the lack of
 clear diagnostics from MythTV), specifically two incorrect elements in
 recordings-ui.xml:

 {{{
 <area>0,0,0,0</area>
 }}}
 and
 {{{
 <area>0,0,0,31</area>
 }}}

 These are specifying zero width and (in the former case) zero height.

 Please bring this to the attention of the Mythbuntu theme developers.
