 I'll probably commit your patch in a few days.  I'd like to take some time
 to see if there's anything I'd like done in a cleaner or simpler way.
 Feel free to ping me if I forget to do anything with this.

 FYI, there are long-term plans to remove the ability to edit raw SQL for
 custom rules.  When that happens, this feature might go away.
