 The "ignore units" line in "media monitor" is empty.  (I'm running in
 Swedish, so I'm guessing a bit what the English labels might be.  But I
 guess you understand what I mean.)

 I've ran mythfrontend with the debugging flags you recommended, tried to
 eject the file, and tried to eject the DVD tray, so we got to the place
 where we get the message about no devices.

 For completeness I should add that since I filed this report we have
 upgraded the box to Fedora 19.  Fedora 17 has reached EOL.  This still
 means MythTV 0.26.0, and the behaviour is the same as far as ejecting is
 concerned.
