 i'm also affected by this bug. I think the mythavtest is meaningless: the
 last argument is not supposed to be an iptv url.

 In my case, i have the same error in the server log: "failed to set
 channel ...". It seems there's a new table in 0.27 called iptv_channel,
 and for an unknown reason this table is empty (but my m3u file is not
 empty).

 I tried to manually add an entry in the table (but i have no idea what the
 'type' is, so i set it do 'data'), but it doesn't work:
