 Just installed nvidia drivers (yuk - now tty1-6 resolution is horrid -
 huge text [which is why I wanted to avoid the proprietary driver]).. but
 now Myth frontend plays correctly :)


 I still think the comment "Though I think this is probably a nouveau
 thing, not a myth thing." is erroneous though. If other video apps
 (mplayer, vlc, etc.) work, but myth doesn't, it seem pretty obvious to me
 whose software is mucking it up...
