 Sorry, forgot to mention that I recently tried to update my upstart script
 and it's not working, so I'm manually launching mythbackend from the
 command line with:

 LANG=$LANG /usr/local/bin/mythbackend -v socket,network
 --logpath=/var/log/mythtv --user mythtv --daemon
 }}}
