This stuff just went into CVS a little over a day ago, and it's rough.
The general settings dialog isn't even used for anything; those settings are
still read from the configuration file.

Only the recording profile settings are actually used, and that dialog
definitely does fit on 800x600, and should fit 640x480 as well.

The biggest obstacle right now is getting the various widget keybindings to
the point where the entire dialog can be navigated using the remote control.
If you would like to help with that, dive right in.  Visual tweaks will come
later.
