[mythtv] alsa line in not capturing.

I tried to set the line in to capture using the command:

amixer set Line,0 100%,100% mute capture

after executing the command The output shows capture is off.  I'm using
a SBLive under  Mandrake9.  Any idea's as to why the capture would be
off? Thanks,
