Do I miss something? If your processor is capable, you can play/record as
much streams as you have video/tuner cards in your system.

2 recordings at the same time is quite the max though, of nowadays systems.
It is basicaly constrained by the speed AND hardware-bus (PCI) of current
systems.

AFAIK only the Matrox G200 TV is a tuner/video combo, it can do both at the
same time. It would be really strange if you couldn't use your PC while
recording a show by built-in limitation, wouldn't it?
