Isaac says he just adjusted the vertical size in his TV menus. This
is a standard adjustment on TVs, even old ones; most older TVs have
pots inside for v-size, v-hold, etc...

However, I can't figure out how to do it on my newer TV; I think I
need a dongle or something to connect to the debug port on the back.

Anywho, depending on your video card, you can adjust the tv-out
timings (which are distinct from the vga-out timings; it's essentially
just two different ramdacs). For some Nvidia cards, you can use the
"nvtv" progam from the nvidia tv out project on sourceforge. For ATI
cards, you'd have to fiddle the driver source, I guess. For other
cards, I dunno.

My own newer card is not supported by the nvtv utility, and the binary
drivers are of course unfixable. Grr.
