Hmm, is this a complete barrier then? Does adding the flag above not give
you enough to make a backtrace work though?
I think the source gets left in the temp directory (not at the machine to
verify), however, I think that for a developer it will be easier to manually
extract and develop that way. However, I noticed some instruction in a
weekly newsletter some time back about how to run emake manually - the
article was something about "how to run ./configure yourself on an ebuild".
I will try and tweak the ebuilds like so and upload them tomorrow and then
anyone who wants to can kick them around a little.
