I see what you're getting at. :)

How bout "Alogrithm Choice", and a help text of "Lower numbers ask for
slower/higher-quality algorithms to be chosen, higher numbers for
faster/lower-quality. Slower alogrithms are more CPU intentsive,
but may not result in perceived quality improvement, as bitrate has more
impact. Useful range is 2-7. If unsure, select 7."

Does that cover what the control actually changes?
