[mythtv] jerky/jittery video on fast box?

Thank you.
The 32-bit mode really, really helped. It is still a bit jittery upon
start of live tv, but when I pause for a second, and/or change channel,
it catches up, and seems to keep up for the most part. I also noticed a
great deal of improvement in seeking/FF during playback. It's really
fast now.
MTRR seemed to be already set:

$ cat /proc/mtrr
reg00: base=0x00000000 ( 0MB), size= 256MB: write-back, count=1
reg01: base=0xf8000000 (3968MB), size= 32MB: write-combining, count=1
reg02: base=0xf4000000 (3904MB), size= 64MB: write-combining, count=1

I'm assuming from reading the docs at mplayer that this is fine...though
the docs were a bit vaguely written concerning that...
"It's right, shows my Matrox G400 with 16MB memory. I did this from
XFree 4.x.x , which sets up MTRR registers automatically.
If nothing worked, you have to do it manually."

Does this mean that if there is anything in /proc/mtrr that it's right?
I looked into my XFree logs, and found some of these addresses listed
under NVIDIA, but not all...?

(--) PCI:*(1:0:0) NVidia Vanta rev 21, Mem @ 0xf0000000/24,
0xf8000000/25
(--) PCI: (2:14:0) BrookTree unknown chipset (0x036e) rev 17, Mem @
0xfb000000/12

I think that I'm OK...?
