Subtitle information (I presume you meant subtitling when you wrote
teletext) is kept in the recorded file itself, it is just another
timerelated frame like the audio and video.
I have European teletext subtitling working at the moment, still some
cleaning up to do and preparing for US CC support. New frametypes in
recorded files are TT (Text-Teletext) and TC (Text-Closed acaption). Text
is displayed with font you want, on the screen locations and in the color
dictated by the teletext page, but without the black backgroundbox.
Will take few or more days untill I have all small issues ironed out and
submitted the patch to Isaac.
