[mythtv] mythweather not coming to front after aborting exit routine in mythfrontend

Using CVS of MythTV and mythWeather.  Mandrake 9.0.

In setup, assigned "ESC" as the mythfrontend exit key.
Start mythbackend; mythfrontend.
Go to mythweather.  Works, get the weather data.  Press ESC.  Back to
mythfrontend.
Hit ESC.  Question:  Do you want to exit.  No, Yes, Yes and reboot.
Choose "No".  Back to mythfrontend.
Go to mythweather.  Nothing (apparently) happens.  mythfrontend looks
frozen; doesn't respond to arrow keys to move highlight.
Do a ps aux.  mythweather is running, but didn't take control of the
screen and paint it.
Press ESC.  mythweather exits, even though it was invisible, control
returns to mythfrontend.
Go to mythTV, music or gallery.  Works.  Go back to mythweather. 
Same "hanging" issue.

So, in summary.  MythWeather will work, as long as I haven't gone and
tried to hit ESC to exit mythfrontend and then change my mind.  Does
this happen to anyone else?
