I've been working on an alternative to switching from livetv to recording. The
player will exit if a recording starts, quickly reconnect, play the recording and
then go back to livetv afterwards. No need anymore for the 'inflight' switching.

Here's how it works:
Scheduler informs recorder that recording will start within 30 seconds.
Recorder now handles the 'allowrecording' dialog triggering.
Recorder will not accept livetv if a recording starts within 5 seconds.
Scheduler informs recorder to start recording, if livetv is active recorder will msg
frontend to quit livetv (unless "don't record etc" was selected).
Frontend will grab the programinfo from recorder and start playing until recorder is not
recording anymore then go back to livetv.

The quitting and switching from livetv to watching the recording is quite fast, not much longer
then a channel change. I've done some nonstop livetv to recording and back etc. testing
and it works without problems (with a local server/client setup), so far :].
