Great to see it's not only me that it's playing with DVB-s at the moment!

Right now I'm very close to releasing a (nearly) working patch. I've got it
to change channels at a speed very close to a normal channel change, it also
only does it's thing at the start of a playback/channel change, so it will
not bother anything else. The OSD stuff is not complete, but it does not
crash mythtv (need to do some cacheing of org. image and rescaling).
