	Not to be pedantic, but you did something along the lines of:

		cd mythcvs/mythtv
		cvs update
		make distclean
		make
		make install
		cd ..
		cd mythmusic
		cvs update
		make distclean
		make
		make install

	All the update, install, and distclean bits?
