Yes, this is true. Simply don't change your chanid... If I program my VHS
recorder to record preset channel 6 and then I retune preset 6 on it... I
get inconsistencies and it is right. Maybe with mythtv it is a bit more
dangerous having the recordings, but, again, simply don't change your chanid
if you don't need to do it.

I think you can patch every place where the channum is exposed... or not?
