Subject: [mythtv] [PATCH/new APP] *NEW* Manual Scheduling

  Manual Schedule Update:

By tonight changes at the CVS, this app was broken because of changes in window handling.
  This new version works again.
Those who have already downloaded/installed the last version, should download this one again if you want to work against the CVS in the meantime that this isn't also applied there.

  see/get it also here:

Following also the comments I heard, this one improves also the following:

-Date: QDateTimeEdit was also not good, secs, etc, this one uses a much simpley way: Since we're talking of schedule recordings in the future, now, you have only a "days ahead" instead of full date (year, month and day). So now to find the date is just a few clicks of the right arrow, or you can even set a number to jump a week (7), month(30), etc..., so, your full desired date just a few clicks away. very comfortable =)

I see the "days ahead" patch, and I don't agree with your choice. I think it is too complicate to calculate the difference in days, hours and minutes between now and the start time of my program. Maybe it can be simplified showing the resulting calculated start date and time.

-It preserves the user-edited text in the case that it exists. very easy to schedule repetitive programs with same user text =)

-The "minutes" and "duration" jumps in a 5 minutes amounts, in the case of manual scheduling does not makes sense more precission and makes much easier to go for a given amount of minutes just using left/right arrows. If more precission is wantd, you still have a chance to introduce an exact value using the numbers =)

Although I looked tot the widgets/label stuff, I still don't know how to align horizontally the Title/Subtitle/Description spinboxes, if someone know howto, just tell me.
  As always, comments-suggestions wellcome/report bugs...

Why don't you use a grid (QGridLayout)? I use it in my tunebox.cpp.

  enjoy it.

  Ramon.

  p.d. to Leandro: That's not "my" manual recording, it's "your" v0.3 ;)

We'll go to make a genetic paternity test :)
