[mythtv] edit mode segfaults

I am having a strange problem. Every time I go into edit mode with
mythfrontend running on the same puter as mythbackend it segfaults when
i hit any key(left,right,'z'). If I run edit mode on my settop frontend
in the other room it works fine. I am using the same cvs source for both
and both system are stock debian sid. If someone will let me know what i
need to do to get debugging info I will do that and post a followup.
