[mythtv] more on focus

I've just noticed that something that has changed in the last week has caused 
another focus problem.  Now when you go to delete a recording via the watch 
recording, once you select the recording, focus problems start.  The 
situtation is at it's worse if you have sloppy focus, however, even with 
click to focus you can see the problem if you open a console window before 
starting mythfrontend.  What seems to happen is that the action window 
(delete or keep it) and the console window both get focus.  I took a look at 
the code over the weekend and while I could see calls that seemed to be there 
to fix focus problems (setFocus()) I've really got no idea on how to fix 
these type of problems as I have zero knowledge of X.  I'll keep digging but 
if someone could through me some hints that would be great.
